BRIEF HISTORY

Del Monte Employees Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (DEARBC) was  organized on December 1, 1988 thru R.A. 6657 known as Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law (CARL) , the beneficiaries of which are regular employees of Del Monte Philippines, Inc.

DEARBC acquired more than 8,000 hectares government (NDC) lands thru a Loan with Land Bank of the Philippines, with an interest rate of 6% and payable in 30 years.

The Certificate of Land Ownership Awards (CLOA) was handed to DEARBC by no less than the late President Corazon C. Aquino on December 12, 1988.
